Medical Malpractice
Areas of Practice
Personal Injury
Worker's Compensation
Medical malpractice is the failure of any medical professional to uphold the accepted standards of care in a specific patient’s medical situation. Unfortunately, a breach of the accepted standard of care is an all-too-often occurrence, resulting in serious injury, and sometimes, wrongful death. If you think that you or someone you know has a potential claim, feel free to contact us for a free initial consultation.

We believe in working with our clients in developing and documenting all aspects of their cases to accurately show how their lives have been adversely and permanently impacted as a result of the negligence of a medical provider.

You have the right to view and possess a copy of your medical records. If any problems arise in claiming your records, please inform us as it is your right to obtain those records.
When a person is injured in an accident someone is often legally responsible.  Personal injury is a focus area within the law that is aimed towards protecting those who have been harmed by the careless and/or intentional actions of others.  The legal system establishes guidelines for compensating victims who have been injured in such circumstances.  In particular, we do not represent big business, hospitals, insurance companies, or manufacturers.  Our sole concern is for that of the injured individual who deserves full and fair compensation for their injuries.  Our firm provides for a wide array of issues, including (but not limited to):
  • Motor vehicle accidents
  • Nursing home neglect
  • Defective products (drugs, consumer products, automobiles, machinery, etc.)
  • Construction site accidents
  • Slip and fall
  • Dog bites
  • Swimming/drowning accidents
  • Wrongful death

*If an insurance provider denies coverage for a procedure, review your policy carefully, preferably with an attorney.
If you are injured on the job (or suffer from some form of psychological injury or occupational disease such as carpal tunnel syndrome, asbestosis, etc.) it is important for you to seek immediate medical attention.  Depending on the nature of your injury, you may need emergent care or you may simply need to visit your primary care physician.  Additionally, you have the right to select a physician of your own choice.

It is important to inform your health care provider that the injury is work-related, as well as notifying your supervisor at work.  If your employer denies that the injury occurred at work, denies your medical treatment for the injury, or the insurer fails to start worker's compensation benefits, it is vital to seek out legal advice.  You can be sure that the insurance carriers and your employer will have attorneys working for their interests.  As such, an initial consulation will cost you nothing with our firm and will provide you some direction in how best to proceed in such a situation.
Nursing Home Litigation
Our loved ones deserve proper care when they are no longer able to care for themselves. Unfortunately, many nursing homes and elder care facilities do not take proper care of their patients, often resulting in painful and sometimes deadly decubitus ulcers (bedsores), malnutrition and weight loss, dehydration, recurrent infections, falls and fractures, unsanitary conditions, and even death. Many of these injuries occur due to an insufficient and poorly trained staff. These problems occur because corporate ownership, on many occasions, is more concerned with profits than providing appropriate care. If you or a loved one has suffered as a result of nursing home negligence please contact us. We are here to protect your rights and the rights of your loved ones.
